FX, Microsoft Studios/Xbox, Warner Bros. Pictures And Bond Win Clio Entertainment ‘Of The Year’ Awards at 2019 Ceremony

FX, MICROSOFT STUDIOS/XBOX, WARNER BROS. PICTURES AND BOND WIN CLIO ENTERTAINMENT ‘OF THE YEAR’ AWARDS AT 2019 CEREMONY

LOS ANGELES—(November 22, 2019)— Clio Entertainment, the original and definitive international awards program celebrating creativity in marketing the entertainment business, revealed the winning work that earned the program’s top honors during a ceremony hosted by comedian Craig Robinson at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles last night. At the event, FX was revealed as the Television/ Streaming Network of the Year, Microsoft Studios/ Xbox scored Game Publisher of the Year, Warner Bros. Pictures took Studio of the Year and Bond accepted honors for Agency of the Year. 

Highlights from the event included a special Honorary Clio Entertainment Award for songwriter Diane Warren. The award was presented by director and producer Reginald Hudlin and capped off with performance of “I'm Standing With You” by Chrissy Metz, an original song from the movie “Breakthrough” with music and lyrics by Warren.

Additionally, Editorial Director for The Hollywood Reporter, Matt Belloni, took to the stage to present The Clio Entertainment and Hollywood Reporter Marketing Mastermind award to Asad Ayaz, President of Marketing at The Walt Disney Studios. This first-of-it-kind specialty award celebrates an individual instead of a piece of work and was bestowed on Ayaz following a year in which the Disney campaigns he crafted sent shockwaves through the internet with each release. 

The evening’s main event was the presentation of Clio Entertainment’s top honor, the Grand Clio Entertainment Award. This year’s winners are:

  • Home Entertainment: Original Content- The Predator Holiday Special for The Predator (2018) by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios

  • Home Entertainment: Packaging- The Big Lebowski - 20th Anniversary for The Big Lebowski by GNAH Studios Inc.

  • Television/Streaming: Experiential/Events- Maisel Day for Amazon Prime Video by Amazon Prime Video
