Live Awards Ceremony Moves to Nashville on May 10th as Part of the Music Business Association’s Music Biz 2022 Conference
New York, NY— April 3, 2022—Clio Music, the global competition celebrating the visceral power of music to connect artists, fans and brands around the world, today announced the jury of industry leaders that will be responsible for selecting the 2022 Clio Music Award winners. This year’s panel will identify the most creative submissions in music marketing, brand creative, film & video and the use of music in advertising, trailers and teasers. Amani Duncan, President of BBH USA; Benji Madden, Founder at Veeps, MDDN Co; Cat Kreidich, President of ADA Worldwide; Dana Sano, EVP Film & TV at Republic Records; Gwen Bethel Riley, SVP of Music at Peloton; Joel Simon, CEO/CCO at JSM Music; Kelly Adelman, President, Trailer Park AV, Film and Streaming; Marty Silverstone, Partner/SVP Creative Head of Sync at Primary Wave; Zach Papale Global Head of Brand Partnerships & Experiential Marketing at YouTube; Musician Bishop Briggs, and Visual Artist/Graphic Designer Fab 5 Freddy are among the decision makers who will determine the trophy winners.
“Each year we select a new group of experts and basically hand over the keys to our program, they have total control over what entries are selected to win an award,” said Clio Music & Clio Cannabis Executive Director Michael Kauffman. “We spend a lot of time taking stock of the industry and choosing the people and the perspectives that we want to represent our mission and send a signal to the industry about what work is most creatively inspiring. We’re very proud to have this group leave their mark on the history of our program.”
For the first time, Clio Music is partnering with the Music Business Association (Music Biz) to host a live awards ceremony as part of Music Biz 2022, the trade Association's annual conference set to take place at the JW Marriott Nashville from May 9th to 12th. As the industry's leading trade group for all facets of the music business, Music Biz aims to create spaces for the most important conversations shaping the future of the music industry to take place. The in-person Clio Music Awards ceremony will be held on May 10th in Nashville, Tennessee.
