Golden Globe Nominee and Co-Founder of Houseplant Evan Goldberg, Anomaly & dosist Founding Partner Jason DeLand, Founder & CEO of Crowns Agency Rebecca Brown, Creative Director-at-Large of Burton Snowboards and Co-Founder of Camp High Greg Dacyshyn and More to Decide the Winners of the First-Ever Clio Cannabis Awards
NEW YORK—(September 18, 2019)— Clio Cannabis, the new joint venture from Clio and High Times celebrating the creators at the forefront of cannabis marketing and communications, today announced its inaugural jury. The esteemed group of executives, many of whom left leadership positions at mainstream fashion and lifestyle companies to establish some of the world’s leading cannabusinesses, will decide which entries will earn the first-ever Clio Cannabis awards.
"As the cannabis industry evolves, brands will lead its development. How those brands create and market in this space is vital for the industry to explore and understand, especially given the regulatory constraints,” said Jason DeLand, Founding Partner, dosist / Anomaly. “In my view, there is no better category to showcase fresh strategic and creative choices and I hope this new awards program will encourage the creative community to rise to the challenge.”
The jury will meet on November 18 in Los Angeles to evaluate the new program’s submissions across multiplatform categories and determine the work that will set the barometer for excellence in the rapidly expanding and highly specialized cannabis industry. The winners will be revealed at the first annual Clio Cannabis awards on November 20 from NeueHouse in Los Angeles.
The 2019 Clio Cannabis award recipients will be decided by:
Lisa Buffo, Founder & CEO, Cannabis Marketing Association
Olivia Mannix, Founder & CEO, Cannabrand
Greg Dacyshyn, Co-Founder, Camp High
Rebecca Brown, Founder & CEO, Crowns Agency
